I have seen the Baby Dipper all over the web, and from the second I saw it, I thought it was pretty cool. So when they agreed to let me try it I was ecstatic! The Baby Dipper Bowl is designed to be a one handed bowl for mom’s and dads and easy for growing toddlers. The contoured interior makes the food glide onto the spoon instead of running and hiding like it does for most Toddlers. So when I decided to review this little gem I decided to take a good while and really put it through it’s paces. I did a review with my child and let my girlfriend borrow it for her toddler to see how he liked it.

First let’s start with what I liked about it:

1. I really liked the non skid base. This made it easy to set the bowl in one spot and not have to worry about the spoon pushing it off the table.
2. I liked the fact that I could see through it.
3. I also liked the fact that the utensils were both small enough for my baby yet not so small that I couldn’t use them.

What I would like to see Baby Dipper Do:

1. Really the only thing I could find wrong or missing from Baby Dipper was the availability of a glass option. I love my glass dishes and this would be fantastic in glass. Even though the dish is BPA, PVC, and Phthalate free, I like to err on the side of caution.

So what did my girlfriend like about it (2.5 year old Nicholas playing the role of Guiney Pig):

“Yes I used it for the first time on Sunday. I loved it. It worked really well, and Nicholas never got frustrated and put his spoon down like he usually does. The only thing I would say is a drawback is the fact that for an older toddler using it the bowl should be a little bit bigger. I had to keep refilling it. “
